We are seeking a Vice President, Global Account Development to own and lead NIQ’s commercial and service relationship with one of our key global clients. In this highly visible and strategic role, you will act as the primary trusted partner to senior client executives, driving growth through strategic planning, analytics, and partnership excellence.
You will develop and execute long-term joint business plans, embed NIQ’s data and insights into client decision-making processes, and collaborate with a high-performing global account team. You will also strengthen relationships across multiple markets and categories, delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes for both NIQ and our clients.
Your leadership will be instrumental in connecting global, regional, and local teams—ensuring alignment, collaboration, and growth across markets worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive joint business plans with client executives and internal NIQ leadership.
Define strategic roadmaps and execute commercial strategies
Lead the implementation of analytical recommendations within client insights
Collaborate cross-functionally with NIQ specialty teams
2. Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary executive contact for senior client stakeholders
Drive proactive client engagement by delivering thought leadership, data-driven insights, and foresight on market trends.
Strengthen relationships at the C-suite level, ensuring satisfaction, renewals, and long-term partnership growth.
Collaborate with NIQ Regional & Market AD’s, Regional Customer Success, Customer Care, and Global Operations teams to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction in over 50 global markets.
3. Analytics, Insights & Growth Enablement
Oversee the delivery of high-impact solutions that address complex client challenges.
Ensure full adoption and utilization of NIQ’s analytics suite and data platforms by the client and account team.
Partner with clients to identify new growth opportunities.
4. Project & Global Account Management
Lead multiple global priorities & projects with precision.
Manage annual Operating Plan, contract implementation; as well as financial planning with the client.
Serve as a global liaison across the client’s organization to establish consistent ways of working and best practices.
Support and contribute to NIQ’s global initiatives to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
5. Innovation & Development
Partner with NIQ experts to design and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions tailored to client needs.
Stay ahead of industry and retail trends, educating clients on best practices in merchandising, category management, and consumer insights.
Contribute to NIQ’s internal knowledge-sharing and thought leadership, fostering innovation across teams.
6. Business Development
Support global and regional business development efforts, contributing to the design of commercial proposals, statements of work, and engagement models.
Identify opportunities for new business and expanded partnerships within existing client ecosystems.
Collaborate with regional sales and customer success teams to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Retail, CPG, Merchandising, Consulting, or Professional Services.
Proven experience in customer insights, category management, retail collaboration, and executive client leadership.
Experience in marketing research or consumer panel environments (3–5 years preferred).
Strong ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate at the executive level.
Demonstrated record of driving revenue growth and exceeding business objectives.
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
Familiarity with NIQ tools, platforms, and analytics solutions is a plus.
A global mindset with the ability to collaborate across regions and cultures.
Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and innovation in driving client outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Additional Information
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $183,050 - $184,756. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
