Director, Business Development, Electromagnetic Warfare

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company delivering advanced autonomy, AI, sensor fusion, and networked command-and-control solutions to U.S. and allied forces. The Electromagnetic Warfare Business Development team seeks a senior, technically minded BD leader to shape capture strategies, grow EW opportunities with the US Navy or Army, and lead cross-functional teams to transition prototype EW capabilities into production at scale.

Skills

  • Active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance (must maintain eligibility)
  • 10+ years of program management, acquisitions, or business development experience in government/defense
  • Proven capture and BD skills for complex C2/hardware+software defense programs
  • Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, requirements generation, contracting and fielding
  • Strong stakeholder engagement with senior military and DoD officials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive briefings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute cohesive, data-driven BD and capture strategies focused on US Navy or US Army EW markets
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships to identify, shape, and capture new opportunities
  • Lead capture campaigns and engagement with PEO/PM organizations and senior DoD leadership
  • Partner with engineering, program management, and operations to align product development with customer needs
  • Drive financial performance, pipeline growth, and delivery commitments for the EW business line
  • Foster a culture of customer focus, innovation, open communication, and continuous improvement
  • Represent Anduril externally as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador
  • Travel up to 50% to support customer engagements, demonstrations, and captures

Education

  • Relevant experience emphasized over a specific degree (not explicitly required)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, business, or related field
