Account Director

Mindgrub Technologies is an award-winning digital innovation agency focused on driving efficiency, growth, and ROI through AI and digital solutions, with strong expertise in the energy and utilities sectors. We are hiring an experienced Account Director to manage and grow a portfolio of energy and utility accounts, act as a strategic client partner, and help identify and drive new revenue opportunities.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise account management and client relationship skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting
  • Analytical capability to interpret account metrics and drive data-informed decisions
  • Familiarity with Cloud, Web, and digital marketing principles
  • Comfort with occasional travel and stakeholder engagement across multiple levels

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact and trusted advisor for energy and utility enterprise accounts
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; anticipate and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and create strategic account plans to drive alignment and results
  • Identify, qualify, and drive account expansion and upsell opportunities in collaboration with sales and product teams
  • Prepare and present proposals, renewals, and contract negotiations; support forecasting and pipeline management
  • Monitor account performance, analyze metrics, and produce reports to inform strategy and improvements
  • Represent Mindgrub at client workshops, industry events, and networking sessions

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Additional business certifications or advanced degrees are a plus
