Branch Manager - Building Supplies - job 1 of 2

Our client, a well-established company in the building products industry, is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead their Florida operations. This is a high-impact leadership role that offers the opportunity to drive significant organizational transformation and growth. The successful candidate will report directly to senior leadership and play a pivotal role in revitalizing branch performance while building a positive, results-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Develop and maintain strong leadership relationships with lower-level managers and staff across all departments
  • Sales Growth: Lead and energize the sales team toward aggressive growth targets, implementing strategies to drive revenue and market expansion.
  • Culture Development: Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention
  • Problem Resolution: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions
  • Performance Management: Establish and maintain performance standards while providing coaching and development opportunities for team members
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership on branch strategy and long-term growth initiatives
  • Operations Oversight: Manage production and warehouse operations to optimize efficiency, productivity, and workflow processes
  • Industry Experience: Proven background in building products distribution or closely related industry sectors
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in managing teams and driving organizational performance in a multi-departmental environment
  • Sales Focus: Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Management Skills: Experience leading lower-level managers and building effective management structures
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and resolution skills with a track record of solving complex operational challenges
  • Culture Building: Proven ability to transform workplace culture and improve employee engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in turnaround or performance improvement situations
  • Background managing both sales and operations functions simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with warehouse and production management

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Performance Bonus: Significant performance-based bonus program tied to sales and branch performance metrics
