Director, Americas Channel Sales

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and expand channel sales initiatives across the Americas, driving revenue growth and partner engagement in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment. You will manage a high-performing team, build executive relationships with channel partners, and collaborate across sales, marketing, and technical functions to maximize market coverage. The position requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to identify new business opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships. Your leadership will shape channel strategy execution, enable partner success, and elevate the company’s presence across multiple markets. This role thrives on collaboration, results-driven execution, and the ability to influence without direct authority, providing both challenge and growth for seasoned sales leaders.


Accountabilities
  • Lead and oversee the Americas channel team and national reseller account team, setting objectives, financial targets, and key milestones.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships (VP and C-suite) with channel partners to drive strategic growth.
  • Align regional sales, sales engineering, and marketing teams to ensure consistent execution of channel strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop a robust pipeline across all focus markets and segments.
  • Collaborate with channel marketing to design and execute regional programs and campaigns to increase market presence.
  • Provide input on partner enablement and certification programs to support channel growth.
  • Oversee CRM processes, partner management, and deal registration for the Americas region.
  • Foster relationships with technology vendors and alliance partners to pursue mutual growth opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive products, and technologies to inform channel strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, business reports, and territory plans to executive leadership.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience leading high-performing teams and managing channel programs in the technology sector.
  • Proven success in building and leveraging a strong network of key channel relationships.
  • Track record of driving channel revenue growth and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience with networking, data center, and security technologies highly desirable.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for partner and deal management.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for building strong partnerships.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region.
