We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and inspire a team of Direct Sales Representatives across a designated region. This role combines team leadership with hands-on sales execution, requiring a strategic approach to growing market share and driving revenue in office coffee, bar, and restaurant accounts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, excels at identifying and closing new business opportunities, and is committed to developing a high-performing sales team. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to expand customer penetration, implement value-based sales strategies, and ensure operational excellence throughout the territory.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Coach, develop, and manage a team of Direct Sales Representatives to achieve regional sales goals.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across office coffee, bar, and restaurant accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle using value-based selling strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and organize potential customer funnels to drive consistent growth.
  • Support training initiatives, marketing projects, and account management for your territory.
  • Stay current on industry trends in liquid coffee and specialty beverages, educating customers accordingly.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring high performance and operational excellence.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience selling in specialty foodservice, Office Coffee Service (OCS), or spirits industries.
  • 4+ years managing, coaching, and developing successful sales teams.
  • Knowledge of value-based selling and sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC.
  • Proven track record in new account penetration and revenue growth.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed.
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
