- Familiarity with or openness to Montessori and child-led education models
- Ability to prepare and maintain a Montessori prepared environment

- Classroom management tailored to toddlers and mixed-age settings
- Willingness to complete sponsored Montessori diploma training
Responsibilities
- Observe and respond to each child’s developmental needs (physical, emotional, intellectual)
- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly Montessori classroom that encourages exploration
- Support and cultivate independence in daily practical life activities
- Deliver targeted lessons for language development, practical life, and social-emotional growth
- Build strong, respectful relationships with each child
- Partner with families to ensure consistent, individualized support between home and school
- Work one-on-one and in small groups using hands-on Montessori materials
- Document observations, progress, and communicate development updates to families
- Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborative team meetings
Education
- 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
- Montessori diploma or willingness to earn one through sponsored training
