Our goal is to engage every healthcare professional in clinical research and to make clinical trials a care option for every patient
Pros
I loved working at Care Access mostly because you felt the people that worked there actually worked for the mission rather than the money or incredible benefits. The CEO and Co-Founders are amazing guys. You feel the love from them and their love for helping people in the underserved areas of Clinical Research.Cons
I felt that some people that should be in managerial positions, aren't. And people that are in managerial positions, shouldn't be. This is actually damaging the company within. Our Mission
Our goal is to engage every healthcare professional in clinical research and to make clinical trials a care option for every patient.
At Care Access, our mission is our business
We chose healthcare because we want to help people. We chose clinical research because we want to affect healthcare on a large scale. We chose Care Access because we want to bring new therapies to patients faster and increase access to clinical trials for under-represented communities. This is our mission, and we do it day in, day out.
Our Principles
Carrying out our mission means committing ourselves to a set of principles that guide our work and propel us forward. We keep these principles visible in our daily lives to ensure we never lose sight of them.
We are here to build the future of medicine, healthcare, and research, for Everyone—we are just getting started.
What We Do
Care Access is a global research company that’s focused on accelerating the arrival of new medicines.
Getting new medicines into the hands of patients depends on clinical trials. However, due to logistical complexities and insufficient infrastructure, clinical trials are simply not reaching enough people. This creates a natural bottleneck in getting clinical trials completed, which holds back medical progress.
Clinical research is traditionally conducted by a limited number of academic institutions in major metropolitan areas, which means that many people don't have access to research. Lack of proximity to research facilities is the number one barrier to research participation.
We focus on breaking down the barriers that people face when trying to access clinical trials. We do this by partnering with communities, listening to communities about diseases that impact them, and then bring both the research infrastructure and clinical trials to the community. We work with local healthcare providers and community leaders to help them make clinical research available in their communities that’s relevant and meaningful. Our global network of over 150 research sites, our fleet of 158 mobile research vehicles, and our teams of highly trained research professionals are dedicated to bringing research infrastructure to communities that have been left out of the clinical research process.
By improving access to research for more communities, we can help clinical trials complete faster and be more representative. Better access allows for the faster arrival of new medicines.
Diversity & Representation
We serve patients and researchers from diverse cultures and communities around the world. We are stronger and better when we build a team that represents the people we aim to support and maintain an inclusive culture where people from a broad range of backgrounds feel valued and respected as they contribute to our mission.
We also work in an industry that needs to better engage people from diverse, traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in clinical trials. Therefore, creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is just the start. We must also increase diversity and representation in clinical trial participation through the solutions we create and the clinical trial ecosystem we aim to build.
