Grammarly is seeking a Data Scientist for their Growth team, responsible for driving data-driven decisions through experimentation and complex analysis while collaborating with various stakeholders. This remote-friendly role requires strong technical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities: Design and run product experiments, mine large datasets for user behavior insights, optimize marketing strategies across various channels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence decision-making.
Skills: Fluency in Python and SQL, strong statistical methods knowledge (including causal inference), experience with A/B testing, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant experience in data science, proven impact in the Growth domain, and ability to communicate technical insights effectively within an organization.
Location: Hybrid position based in the New York City Metropolitan area.
Compensation: $175000 - $220000 / Annually

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our Growth Data Science team. In this role, candidates will partner closely with our product, engineering, growth, and/or lifecycle marketing stakeholders. They will be responsible for designing and overseeing product experiments, as well as conducting complex analyses to inform product strategy through advanced analytics and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering impactful analytical projects within the Growth domain and partnering with cross-functional peers to guide and influence decision-making.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
Zone 1: $175,000 to $220,000 USD
