Sr. Account Executive (Southeast / Tennessee)

GuidePoint Security is a rapidly growing, privately-held cybersecurity firm that provides expertise, solutions and services to Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies. The Senior Account Executive will proactively generate leads, manage and grow customer relationships across the Southeast (Tennessee focus), and use a consultative approach to position security products and professional services to executive-level stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proven outside sales experience in IT with strong enterprise relationships
  • Experience selling cybersecurity products and/or professional services (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and opportunity management
  • Strong presentation and executive-level communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of lead generation and consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to position vendor technologies and craft consultative solutions
  • Comfortable with regional travel and remote/virtual selling

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales and profitability targets for the assigned territory
  • Network, cold call and develop relationships with multiple contacts including C-level executives
  • Position, configure and quote vendor product and service solutions to clients
  • Manage leads and opportunities using Salesforce and other CRM tools; keep accurate sales forecasts
  • Participate in creation, editing and closure of services proposals
  • Represent GuidePoint at industry organizations and field marketing events to generate leads
  • Engage with vendor partners to understand technologies and articulate value propositions
  • Deliver professional presentations to groups and executive-level clients
  • Coordinate with internal resources throughout the sales lifecycle and set clear client expectations
  • Travel regionally as required to meet clients and attend events

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Relevant vendor/security certifications strongly preferred
