Account Executive (Southwest)

GuidePoint Security is a rapidly growing, privately held cybersecurity reseller and trusted advisor to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. The company is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive consultative sales across the Southwest, manage and grow key accounts, and close new business by aligning security solutions to client needs.

Skills

  • Proven outside sales experience in IT or security
  • Strong consultative and enterprise selling skills
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent presentation and executive communication skills
  • Demonstrated lead generation and new account opening ability

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet sales and profitability goals for the assigned territory
  • Network, cold call and develop relationships with multiple contacts including C-level stakeholders
  • Position, configure and quote product and service solutions to clients
  • Manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce and other CRM tools
  • Accurately report sales forecasts and maintain opportunity funnels
  • Create, edit and close services proposals in collaboration with internal teams
  • Represent GuidePoint to clients and articulate areas of expertise and vendor value propositions
  • Participate in field marketing and industry organizations to generate leads and market presence
  • Leverage internal resources and vendor relationships throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Deliver professional sales presentations to groups and executive-level clients

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Relevant vendor certifications strongly preferred
