Account Executive (Northwest)

GuidePoint Security is a rapidly growing, privately-held cybersecurity firm that provides expert security consulting, solutions and services to enterprise and government clients. The Account Executive will drive new business and revenue across the Northwest region by prospecting, developing relationships with multiple contacts (including C-level), positioning security solutions and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle.

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in IT; information security experience preferred
  • Proven ability to generate leads and open new accounts
  • Experience selling professional services, security audits and assessments
  • Strong presentation and executive-level communication skills
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Established relationships with key accounts in the territory
  • Comfortable with regional travel

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, cold call and build relationships with multiple contacts within targeted accounts, including executives
  • Meet or exceed sales, pipeline and profitability goals
  • Position, configure and quote product and services solutions and prepare proposals
  • Manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce and maintain accurate sales forecasts
  • Work with vendor partners to understand and articulate product value propositions
  • Deliver presentations and demos to executive and large-group audiences
  • Participate in industry organizations and field marketing to generate leads
  • Coordinate resources across pre-sales, technical teams and vendors throughout the sales lifecycle

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Vendor or network security certifications strongly preferred
