We're seeking a strategic, proactive, and highly collaborative Head of People & Talent to join our leadership team in New York City. In this high-impact role, you'll lead all aspects of talent acquisition, employer branding, culture initiatives, and career development programs. You'll have a direct influence on scaling our exceptional culture, attracting and retaining outstanding talent, and laying the foundation for Fundwell's continued growth and success.
How You'll Make an Impact
Own the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, primarily for Go-To-Market sales roles, and other critical hires across Fundwell.
Develop and promote a compelling employer brand reflecting our values, mission, and unique culture to attract top-tier talent.
Partner closely with leadership to forecast hiring needs, establish efficient hiring processes, and implement tools and metrics to ensure consistent quality and speed.
Design and implement foundational People Operations programs, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and career development.
Champion initiatives that enhance company culture, internal communications, and cross-functional collaboration through events, team-building programs, and ongoing support.
Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board, fostering strong, enduring relationships with team members across their employee journey.
What Sets You Apart
5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or HR, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience recruiting for GTM roles, especially Sales, and familiarity with hiring in New York and Florida markets.
Exceptional sourcing, networking, and candidate engagement skills.
Highly collaborative leader with excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and resilient, consistently maintaining a positive outlook and inspiring your team.
Data-driven mindset; adept at utilizing metrics to inform strategic decisions and influence stakeholders.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced growth environment.
Tech-savvy with experience leveraging recruitment technology (ATS, HRIS) and implementing new systems.
Proven ability to design and execute impactful culture-building initiatives.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in a financial services or fintech startup environment.
Background working in staffing firms with successful GTM hiring for small, rapidly growing corporations.
Demonstrated interest and experience in employer branding and talent marketing content.
