We are at an exciting stage of our journey. We‘ve raised our Series A, expanded in the US, and hit the $1m and $2m ARR milestones in 2024; we aim to x5 our growth by the end of 2025.

Dust is a Sequoia-backed company with an experienced and determined team of optimists (coming from companies like Stripe or OpenAI) that like to focus on users, getting great things done by shipping fast, and doesn’t take itself too seriously while doing so.

TL;DR

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to build our U.S. GTM teams from the ground up. As our first U.S. Talent hire, you’ll own the entire recruiting engine, from sourcing to strategy, and have full autonomy to shape how we scale from…. This is the perfect role for a builder who loves 0-1, thrives in fast-paced Series A–C startups, and wants to leave a lasting mark on the future of Dust.

What you’ll do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for GTM roles (sales, CS, marketing), from intake and sourcing to offer and close.

  • Build scalable recruiting processes and frameworks for the U.S. market, ensuring efficiency and repeatability as the team grows.

  • Partner with U.S. leadership to forecast hiring needs, set priorities, and act as a thought partner on organisational design and talent strategy.

  • Develop a proactive sourcing engine, mapping and engaging top talent pipelines across U.S. GTM functions.

  • Close high-impact hires by positioning our value proposition, advising on offers, and managing negotiations.

  • Track and report on recruiting metrics, providing insights on funnel health, conversion, efficiency, and quality of hire.

  • Champion diversity hiring, designing strategies to expand access and representation across GTM roles.

  • Lay the groundwork for U.S. talent operations, including vendor relationships, employer brand presence.

  • Design and own the U.S. onboarding experience, ensuring every new hire ramps quickly and feels connected to our mission from day one.

  • Shape and embed our culture in the U.S. team, acting as a culture carrier and ensuring alignment with our global values.

  • Support early org design decisions, partnering with leadership on team structures, role design, and scalable processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a mix of agency and in-house startup experience, specifically focused on GTM hiring (sales, CS, marketing).

  • Proven sourcing expertise. You prioritise building pipelines proactively, not waiting for inbound.

  • Data-driven mindset, leveraging insights beyond standard recruiting metrics (e.g., sourcing contribution, funnel health, candidate quality, hiring manager satisfaction) to improve results and influence leadership.

  • Known for strong ownership and autonomy. You thrive in environments with little structure and are comfortable building from scratch.

  • A true builder, able to design scalable recruiting processes and talent strategies for a growing U.S. org.

  • An expert closer and negotiator, with a track record of converting top candidates in competitive markets.

  • Skilled at influencing hiring managers and leadership, acting as a trusted partner in talent decisions.

  • Comfortable leveraging AI and automation tools to boost sourcing productivity, streamline operations, and improve candidate experience.

  • (Nice to have) Experience with Ashby or similar modern ATS platforms, using them to build structured, data-driven recruiting workflows.
