Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations, Commerce Platform

DoorDash’s Account Development Strategy & Operations team is building and scaling a strategic, research-backed commerce product for SMB restaurants. This Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations will lead the 0-to-1 commercialization and operationalization of that product, translating high-level objectives into quarterly goals, establishing sales governance, optimizing inbound and funnel conversion, and driving AI-enabled productivity improvements across Sales, Product, and Analytics stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proven sales operations and strategy experience in high-growth tech environments
  • Strong CRM ownership and experience ensuring data integrity (Salesforce or similar)
  • Advanced analytics and reporting skills (SQL and BI tools)
  • Experience designing and executing go-to-market metrics, forecasting, and quota planning
  • Comfort with rapid iteration, ambiguity, and 0-to-1 scaling
  • Familiarity with AI-driven sales/engagement tools and automation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Define annual sales vision and translate it into measurable quarterly goals and KPIs.
  • Design and lead the 0-to-1 operational buildout for a new product including playbooks, processes, and tooling.
  • Run regular business cadence (Weekly Business Reviews) and ensure CRM and reporting data integrity.
  • Build and optimize an inbound engine to capture and convert merchant interest.
  • Analyze the sales funnel end-to-end to identify root causes and implement improvements.
  • Implement and optimize sales tooling, automation, and AI-driven workflows to increase productivity.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work across Sales, Product, Analytics, and GTM teams to align on priorities and execution.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred but not required
