Distyl is looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Campus Recruiter to build and scale our university recruiting program. In this role, you’ll design and execute a comprehensive strategy to attract exceptional early-career talent from top universities and programs. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and has a strong track record of managing university partnerships, career fairs, and early talent pipelines end to end. You’ll bring creativity, organization, and strong communication skills to ensure that Distyl becomes a top destination for emerging talent in AI, engineering, research and strategy.
Design and lead Distyl’s campus recruiting strategy by building strong partnerships with top universities and student organizations across technical and business disciplines.
Plan and execute all campus events including career fairs, information sessions, hackathons, and networking events, managing logistics, coordination, and on-the-ground representation.
Develop scalable early talent programs such as internship pipelines, new graduate hiring tracks, and rotational programs.
Partner closely with hiring managers to identify early talent needs, align on role profiles, and deliver diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines.
Deliver exceptional candidate experiences ensuring clear communication, timely feedback, and a positive reflection of Distyl’s culture and values.
Leverage data and recruiting tools (including AI-driven platforms) to track performance metrics, improve engagement, and continuously optimize the campus recruiting process.
Champion Distyl’s employer brand across campuses through social media, partnerships, and thought leadership in university ecosystems.
5 years of experience in campus or university recruiting with a demonstrated ability to build and manage recruiting programs from the ground up.
Willingness to up travel 30% to universities and events outside of New York City as needed throughout the academic year.
Proven success working with top universities and early talent programs, ideally within tech, consulting, or high-growth environments.
Strong project management skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable running multiple events and programs simultaneously.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with students, faculty, and career services partners.
Ability to use recruiting tools (e.g., Ashby, Gem, Handshake, LinkedIn) to source, manage pipelines, and analyze recruiting data.
A proactive, collaborative mindset, comfortable operating autonomously while partnering closely with internal stakeholders.
