Cooper Auto Group is seeking talented individuals seeking a career in Human Resources. This position will assist in all aspects of Human Resources to include employee relations, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement.

  • Facilitate the comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Address and resolve employee inquiries with utmost professionalism, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager when necessary.
  • Manage the coordination of benefits enrollment between providers and employees across various retail dealerships, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Execute 401K reconciliation processes with precision and attention to detail.
  • Process required termination information for appropriate follow-up actions, including unemployment claims and COBRA offers.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager on special projects as required, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Min High School degree required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
  • HR (PHR, SHRM) related certification(s) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
