Senior Solution Engineer - job 1 of 4

Contentful is a leading digital experience platform helping organizations build composable, personalized content-driven experiences. We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to co-pilot sales opportunities, drive technical discovery, build demos and proofs of concept, and act as a trusted advisor to marketing and technical stakeholders across the buying cycle.

Skills

  • Sales engineering experience selling cloud solutions to marketing, IT, and developer audiences
  • Strong presentation and demo skills with the ability to convey technical and business value
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing functions, KPIs, and how content supports marketing strategies
  • Experience with CMS/MarTech and familiarity with composable/MACH architectures
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • High emotional intelligence and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle including technical discovery, presentations, demos, trials, and proofs of concept
  • Design and deliver customized, value-based product demonstrations and POCs that validate customer use cases and KPIs
  • Engage with customer stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements and become a trusted advisor
  • Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires and coordinate with internal teams to finalize responses
  • Provide product and market feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Sales
  • Mentor and provide thought leadership to other Sales Engineers
  • Travel onsite with customers as needed (up to 50%)
  • Contribute to internal projects that improve Sales Engineering processes and enablement

Education

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a comparable field or equivalent experience
