Job Summary

The Executive Director of Talent and Performance Management is a results-driven leader responsible for shaping and executing enterprise strategies that align talent and performance initiatives with the organization’s overarching business goals. This role combines strategic foresight with operational excellence to drive measurable outcomes across the talent lifecycle.

As a key member of the leadership team, this individual sets progressive, forward-thinking goals that support organizational growth, innovation, and change. They inspire and lead high-performing teams, championing best-in-class talent and performance management practices that foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence .

This role oversees the design and high-level implementation of talent and performance programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term objectives. The Executive Director plays a critical role in business case development, project execution, and performance measurement, consistently identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and organizational effectiveness.

With a strong grasp of business strategy, this leader translates strategic objectives into actionable plans, guiding multiple teams through complex and dynamic environments. They demonstrate leadership versatility, influence cross-functional collaboration, and contribute meaningfully to the development and execution of enterprise-wide strategies.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Overseeing the adoption of innovative talent and performance management practices in collaboration with HQ talent management, COEs, and HR business partners
• Leading the implementation of advanced tools and analytics to drive data-driven insights, shaping strategic talent decisions and establishing best practices
• Providing leadership and direction to senior talent professionals, fostering a high-performance talent and performance management team
• Playing a pivotal role in the strategic advancement of talent priorities, providing guidance and setting direction for talent and performance management initiatives
• Driving the adoption of HR management system enhancements to optimize and transform talent practice applications
• Leading consultations with senior business leaders to understand complex talent and performance management needs and crafting sophisticated strategic solutions
• Directing the design and execution of high-impact strategic programs that align with and further talent and performance management goals
• Overseeing and refining the business’ performance management and talent review cycles, ensuring they drive organizational success
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
