Skills
- Strong organizational and multi-project management skills
- Ability to work safely and effectively on the manufacturing floor
- Understanding of engineering drawings, design plans, and project controls
- Proven ability to deliver projects on scope, budget, and timeline
- Proficiency with Excel and project management tools (Microsoft Project)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for reviewing plans and layouts
- Clear communication with contractors, vendors, and leadership
Responsibilities
- Define detailed project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for capital and facility projects
- Coordinate project tasks between contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders
- Manage bidding and contractor selection processes for CapEx projects
- Track project budgets, costs, schedules and provide regular updates to leadership
- Identify required resources and mitigate project risks and unexpected events
- Perform onsite inspections on the manufacturing floor and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements
- Travel (~15%) to other ByHeart facilities as needed to support project execution
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; technical/engineering degree preferred
- Project management training or certification preferred (PMP)
- Relevant manufacturing or engineering coursework or coursework in project controls
