Account Executive - Real Estate

AvidXchange is a leading provider of accounts payable automation and payment solutions for middle-market businesses. The company is hiring an Account Executive focused on the Real Estate vertical to grow new business through a solutions-selling approach, build relationships with senior finance and operations decision makers, and consistently exceed regional revenue targets.

Skills

  • Proven B2B SaaS sales skills with quota attainment history
  • Solution selling and consultative sales approach
  • Experience using Salesforce.com (or similar CRM) and SalesLoft
  • Strong presentation and product demonstration abilities
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts (AR/AP) and AP automation workflows
  • Territory management and time prioritization
  • Effective negotiation and objection-handling skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business to meet or exceed monthly revenue and lead objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior decision makers (AP Manager, Controller, CFO, CEO, IT) in the Real Estate vertical
  • Conduct product demos and present AvidXchange value propositions to create customer excitement and drive decisions
  • Use Salesforce.com and SalesLoft to manage leads, activities, opportunities, and forecast accuracy
  • Prioritize outreach, maximize call time and appointments, and maintain required productivity/service levels
  • Coordinate regional travel (50%+ travel) to establish local relationships and generate leads
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to close deals while defending against competitive and business objections
  • Collaborate with internal teams and share best practices to support a high-performing sales culture

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Degree areas commonly sought: finance, business, economics, marketing, accounting, computer science
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience
