Capture Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Capture Manager to lead business development and capture efforts for federal opportunities, develop win strategies, manage proposal lifecycles, and build trusted relationships with government stakeholders and partners.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of federal contracting and capture management processes
  • Experience managing task orders under IDIQ or similar contract vehicles
  • Strong written and verbal communication and proposal writing skills
  • Proficiency with market research tools (e.g., GovWin, FPDS)
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS and government procurement regulations
  • Analytical skills for assessing opportunities and competitive positioning
  • Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with government clients
  • Team collaboration and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, and internal teams
  • Identify and qualify federal and state contracting opportunities through market analysis and networking
  • Develop and execute 1-3 year strategic capture plans aligned with client objectives
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and craft win strategies for task orders and contracts
  • Lead capture activities, including value propositions, solution design, and proposal strategy
  • Oversee end-to-end proposal development ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design differentiating solutions (e.g., IT modernization)
  • Use federal procurement tools to perform market research and maintain regulatory awareness
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to support business development objectives

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred but not required; experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Relevant professional training or certifications in capture/proposal management beneficial
