Responsibilities
- Own detailed design of individual engine components from concept through production.
- Drive prototype testing and design of experiments to validate and optimize designs.
- Design for manufacturability and assembly at production rates.
- Lead architectural layouts and design trade studies for future propulsion products.
- Plan and execute test campaigns to inform iterative design decisions.
- Manage and collaborate with critical vendor partners.
- Lead continuous improvement activities, including process and efficiency improvements and development of data analysis techniques.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
