Skills
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, or fluid systems in design, manufacturing, or execution
- Ability to write clear work instructions and assembly procedures
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including welding, forming, fastening, drilling, and bonding
- Experience using 3D CAD for component or tooling design and analysis
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, and production teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain assembly and inspection procedures for structural, propulsion, and avionics systems.
- Evolve integration procedures to improve efficiency and conformance with safety and quality requirements.
- Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery goals.
- Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to resolve complex production issues.
- Evaluate designs for manufacturability and implement changes in a dynamic production environment.
- Document non-conformances and work with quality to implement root cause corrective actions.
- Plan and optimize floor layouts to maximize production workflow efficiency.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials, or industrial engineering
