Skills
- 5+ years developing production C++ software
- Strong engineering fundamentals in CS, software engineering, math, or physics
- Experience with large-scale data processing and analysis
- Ability to work effectively within complex, mature codebases
- Experience with algorithm research, prototyping, testing, and deployment
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, production-quality software for autonomous robotics focusing on perception, planning, and control.
- Develop, test, and deploy algorithms from prototype to production within large, multidisciplinary codebases.
- Process and analyze large-scale sensor and telemetry data to drive perception and decision-making pipelines.
- Collaborate with AI, hardware, and systems engineers to integrate software on next-generation robotic platforms.
- Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and performance optimization for real-world, mission-critical operations.
- Drive engineering improvements, tooling, and best practices for maintainable, scalable systems.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant discipline is preferred but not required
