- Architecting and delivering defense/IC satellite hardware and software systems
- Experience with high-dV spacecraft and dynamic space operations
- Space-based sensing and mission operations for surveillance and reconnaissance
- Familiarity with USSF and IC space systems and mission areas
- Spacecraft qualification and acceptance testing standards (GEVS, SMC-S-016/MIL-STD-1540)
- Leadership of US Government contracts and customer-facing technical engagements
- Strong technical communication and stakeholder briefing skills
- Systems engineering across vehicle, payload, and ground C2 domains
- Experience with CI/CD and agile integration across company boundaries
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for spacecraft subsystems, payloads, and space-ground integration across design, build, test, and on-orbit operation phases
- Develop technical strategy and roadmap aligned with Head of Engineering and Space growth leads
- Provide oversight for multi-disciplinary engineering teams and subcontractors from proposals through SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, qualification, and flight delivery
- Drive mission and system-level trade studies to balance performance, cost, and schedule
- Integrate pre-existing Anduril and third-party capabilities into continuous integration/continuous deployment workflows
- Contribute technical inputs to proposals, execution plans, and customer technical briefings
- Coordinate with Space C2 team to deliver ground systems and enable customer integrations
- Establish test requirements and acceptance criteria with external vendors and partners
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field required
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant discipline preferred
