- Electrical control system design and panel assembly
- HMI/SCADA development and machine health monitoring
- Motion systems and industrial sensors integration
- Fieldbus and industrial networking (EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet/IP)
- Hands-on troubleshooting with multimeters/oscilloscopes
- Ability to work extended hours to support critical milestones
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage end-to-end automation projects from ideation to hand-off
- Architect, write, and debug organized, maintainable PLC code for high-volume manufacturing
- Implement ANSI/RIA/OSHA-compliant safety logic for robots, gantries, conveyors, and equipment
- Create clear, user-friendly HMI screens to simplify operation and troubleshooting
- Design electrical control systems compliant with NEC, NFPA, and UL508A
- Commission machines, perform proof-of-rate, and lead troubleshooting during ramp-up
- Develop project schedules and budgets and drive teams to meet milestones
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or related field
