Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science discipline
- 1+ years providing technical training for critical/realtime environments or equivalent operations experience
- 1+ years programming experience in Python or JavaScript
- Ability to develop and maintain simulation environments and tooling
- Strong verbal and written technical communication
Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and evaluate operations teams to safely conduct Dragon missions
- Spend ~50% of time on full-stack development and ~50% on operator training and mission support
- Design training content, plans, and instruction for mission control operators
- Plan, schedule, and execute training events and simulations with SpaceX, NASA, and customers
- Script, test, and deploy simulation software components and maintain simulation environment (servers, apps, automation)
- Serve as an on-console mission control operator to support human and cargo missions
- Challenge requirements and reshape training workflows to improve efficiency
- Communicate technical concepts and develop subject-matter expertise across teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a science discipline (required)
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline (preferred)
