The American Express business has two core types of customers. The Card Members that use our cards to make purchases, and the businesses that accept them. In Global Merchant & Network Services, we primarily focus on the businesses that accept our cards. We bring together the businesses that manage and evolve the company’s relationships with the millions of merchants around the world that accept American Express, as well as the team that runs the company’s payment network and manages bank partnerships globally. This is an exciting time for GMNS. We are growing global acceptance of our cards, driving greater usage of our network, demonstrating our modern capabilities to capture broader revenue streams, and driving innovation both in-house and with partners. How will you make an impact in this role?
As a Business Development intern, you will be working on exciting partner/customer facing projects aligned to the company’s strategic goals. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to pivotal initiatives while being part of our award-winning culture and network across our diverse business units and regions.
This internship experience will allow you to be part of an innovative and hard-working team passionate about making American Express an indispensable payments partner to our merchants, delivering differentiated products and services and driving revenue growth for both merchants and American Express.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
Preferred Qualifications
Salary Range: $24.05 to $63.00 hourly + sign-on bonus
