Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients.
Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems.
We are a growing team of practicing MDs, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to empower people and make care make more sense. We have offices located in the Mission District in San Francisco, the SoHo neighborhood of New York, and East Liberty in Pittsburgh.
Abridge is growing fast, and as we grow, it’s more important than ever for our teams to feel connected and inspired. We’re looking for an Internal Events Manager to nurture what makes Abridge such a special place to work. You’ll create experiences that bring people together, strengthen collaboration, and keep Abridgers aligned and inspired as we scale.
You’ll own the strategy and execution of internal events, ensuring our values are reflected and made tangible in every experience. As part of the Internal Communications team, you’ll design moments that help Abridge feel cohesive and connected—no matter where we work or how large we become. From flagship gatherings like CKO, Builders Hackathons, and AllCo Meetings to cross-office experiences for our SF, NYC, Pittsburgh, and remote teammates,, you’ll bring creativity, care, and thoughtful execution to everything you plan. These flagship moments will be anchor points in our year, but you’ll also develop a regular rhythm of every day connection that helps all hubs and remote Abridgers feel part of the same team.
You’ll also help foster inspiration and innovation by supporting Talent Marketing and Thought Leadership programs, including events, external conferences, and speaker series that highlight our mission, showcase our people, and help attract top talent.

Foster Inspiration and Innovation
Produce events and speaker series that inspire Abridgers, share our story externally, and position Abridge as a destination for top talent and innovation
Drive Talent Attraction
Partner with Marketing and People to design events and programs that showcase Abridge’s mission, people, and innovation, helping attract top talent and strengthen our employer brand.
Lead Logistics with Precision and Care
Manage venues, budgets, vendors, and production partners, balancing seamless coordination with creative touches that make every event memorable.
Listen, Measure, and Evolve
Gather feedback, track engagement, and continuously improve how we connect, celebrate, and communicate as one Abridge.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in event planning and coordination, ideally focused on internal or employee engagement events
Proven experience developing and executing creative, high-quality events that foster connection and alignment
Strong strategic thinking and storytelling ability to translate values and messages into experiences that resonate
Exceptional project management and communication skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Experience collaborating across People, Marketing, and Operations functions
Comfort managing event budgets, timelines, and logistics end to end
Passion for creating experiences that strengthen belonging, collaboration, and pride in our mission
