MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent AND Four years of high level Administrative Experience OR Associate’s Degree AND Two years of high level Executive Office Experience OR Bachelor’s Degree.

1. Provides confidential administrative support to the Regional Administrator or CEO.
2. Maintains the Regional Administrator or CEO’s daily appointment calendar; Makes travel and lodging arrangements as required.
3. Types correspondence, reports, memoranda, special projects, technical papers and related material for department staff as requested as approved by the Regional Administrator or CEO.
4. Composes letters and memoranda from dictation, verbal direction or from knowledge of hospital policy and procedures.
5. Records meeting minutes to maintain an accurate record of decisions.
6. Answers telephone and provides information in accordance with hospital policy.
7. Collects and prepares information for the Regional Administrator or CEO’s use in discussions and meetings with executive staff members and outside individuals.
8. Follows standard precautions at all times.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Additional Job Description:
Additional responsibilities include:
-Participate in and support employee engagement initiatives and events
-Oversee the Reward and Recognition Program and provide support to department leaders in scheduling reward and recognition events
-Assist the HR team in executing system and hospital initiatives and handling special projects as required
-Serve as the department time administrator. Order supplies as needed. Reconcile credit card accounts and process departmental invoices.
-Serve as the department administrator for the electronic policy database in reviewing and updating revised local HR Policies and Procedures with HR leadership in accordance with regulatory compliance
-Other duties as assigned to support the system, region and local strategic initiatives of HR may be required
*The primary work location will be on-site at United Hospital Center’s Human Resources Dept. Work hours will be standard office hours with occasional fluctuation in work hours required to support HR or Hospital sponsored events after hours or on weekends. Light travel to and from other WVU Medicine Hospital locations may be required for leadership or other HR events.
