Director of Partner Relations

WorldVia Travel Network seeks a dynamic, results-oriented Director of Partner Relations to lead, expand, and optimize our supplier partnerships. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll be responsible for cultivating relationships with key travel suppliers (cruise lines, tour operators, hotels, and more), developing strategic programs, and driving revenue growth through innovative initiatives. You will also manage and develop a high-performing team, ensuring effective collaboration, talent growth, and optimal use of resources. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about building value-driven partnerships in the travel industry.

About WorldVia Travel Network

WorldVia Travel Network is a leading host agency for independent travel advisors, supporting over 4,600 members with innovative technology, strategic partnerships, and a proven track record in the travel industry. Since our founding in 1998, we’ve grown into a powerhouse network, providing travel professionals with the tools, education, and connections they need to thrive. We partner with top travel brands like Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, Hilton, Disney Destinations, and more, delivering exclusive benefits and best-in-class support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with preferred travel supplier partners (cruise, hotel, tour, and destination brands).
  • Proactively identify, pitch, and secure new supplier partnerships; lead onboarding and integration.
  • Develop and launch new supplier programs, articulating value, opportunities, and ROI for both WorldVia and partners.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to create innovative programs (e.g., advisor incentives, exclusive offers, marketing campaigns); track and report outcomes.
  • Partner with internal teams (events, marketing, operations, member development) to ensure successful supplier events, program adoption, and network engagement.
  • Act as a key liaison between suppliers and our advisor network, ensuring alignment and mutual success.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of partner relations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify team strengths and growth opportunities; provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to help team members reach their full potential.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize team performance and deliver on strategic objectives.
  • Encourage innovation, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving within the team.

Business Management & Growth

  • Drive revenue and profit growth through strategic supplier initiatives, including negotiation of agreements and partnerships.
  • Oversee supplier business reviews, monitor key program metrics, and implement course corrections as needed.
  • Sell and deliver marketing/advertising packages to supplier partners; ensure program performance and conduct post-campaign reviews.
  • Develop and execute monetization strategies that benefit both WorldVia and our supplier partners.

Communications & Enablement

  • Audit and improve supplier communications in partnership with marketing and member success teams.
  • Ensure effective dissemination of supplier product knowledge and updates to our advisor network via events, digital channels, and proprietary technology.
  • Innovate new communication channels and methods to maximize supplier engagement and revenue opportunities.

Industry Leadership & Representation

  • Maintain a deep understanding of travel industry trends, competitive landscape, and supplier market dynamics.
  • Represent WorldVia at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
  • Continuously benchmark and innovate to keep WorldVia’s supplier programs best-in-class.
