Market Owner - Minnesota & Wisconsin

VEG is a rapidly growing veterinary emergency care company transforming the ER experience for pets and their owners. We’re hiring a Market Owner to oversee the Minnesota & Wisconsin markets (6–12 hospitals), accountable for clinical, operational, financial, and cultural outcomes, and for building strong relationships with hospital leaders, referring veterinarians, and the local community.

Skills

Responsibilities

  • Own and improve the customer experience across all hospitals in the market to build community trust and drive patient volume.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with referring veterinary practices to grow referral pipelines.
  • Ensure operational excellence: staffing, systems, inventory, and tools are in place for efficient hospital operations.
  • Oversee clinical standards and support hospital clinical leaders to uplift quality of care and outcomes.
  • Manage market financial performance, budgeting, and P&L to support growth and profitability.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain talent; build succession plans and foster a high-performing culture.
  • Represent and grow the VEG brand in the community through outreach, events, and partnerships.
  • Monitor external market trends and internal metrics to identify growth opportunities and risks.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MHA) or clinical degree (DVM) is a plus
  • Relevant continuing education or professional certifications beneficial
