Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient office workflows across 2–4 physician practices
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets and monitor charge capture and billing processes
- Meet regularly with physicians and staff to address operational issues and implement performance improvement initiatives
- Approve bi-weekly payroll, expenditures, and supply ordering within signature authority and policy
- Ensure regulatory compliance, maintain required documentation/licenses, and uphold HIPAA standards
- Serve as the practice spokesperson for external contacts and coordinate with central functions (CBO, HR, Risk, IT, Training)
- Lead cross-practice projects and collaborate with other practice managers and supervisors
- Provide regular financial and billing communication to providers and keep leadership informed of critical issues
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, health administration, finance, or related field, plus three or more years in physician office management
- OR five years of experience managing a private physician practice
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and database software
