Pre-Sales Engineer CAD/RMS

Versaterm is a global public safety software company building integrated solutions for public safety agencies, forensic labs, court systems, schools and other institutions. We are hiring a Director, Special Markets to own bookings and pipeline growth, lead and develop a team of Account Executives, and drive territory expansion for specialty product lines in the Public Safety SaaS space.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise/public sector SaaS sales leadership
  • Strong knowledge and practical use of MEDDPICC and Challenger Sale frameworks
  • Pipeline management, forecasting, and deal inspection expertise
  • Experience with long sales cycles and complex, multi-product deals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level influencing skills
  • Coaching and people development experience

Responsibilities

  • Own quarterly and annual bookings targets for Specialty Markets
  • Build and maintain healthy pipeline coverage across specialty product lines
  • Inspect deals at each stage to ensure qualification, momentum, and close plans
  • Drive consistent use of MEDDPICC and enforce mutual action planning
  • Coach Account Executives on deal strategy, discovery, and competitive positioning
  • Run regular deal reviews focused on risk, next steps, and decision control
  • Set performance expectations and hold team accountable to outcomes
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Product, Pre-Sales, Proposals, Marketing, and Customer Success to align strategy and execution
  • Provide concise, fact-based updates to senior sales leadership
  • Identify whitespace and expansion opportunities across territories and accounts

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Relevant professional experience in enterprise SaaS or public sector sales
