Skills
- Excellent technical communication: presentations, whiteboarding, and written materials
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems design principles and patterns
- Ability to build prototypes and provide design, development, and deployment guidance
- Operational expertise in security, reliability, performance, cost, and production operations
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and common production services
- Proficiency with one or more of Temporal’s supported languages (Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, PHP)
Responsibilities
- Assess prospect applications to determine suitability for Temporal’s platform
- Educate customers on technical benefits, limitations, and best practices for Temporal
- Position Temporal against competing technologies and architectural patterns
- Drive adoption and expansion of Temporal in customer production environments
- Partner with Account Executives to create and execute account plans
- Manage technical relationships with engineering and decision-makers to ensure platform success
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) or additional technical certifications is a plus

- Estimated total compensation $200,000 - $250,000 (70/30 split base/variable) and equity eligibility
