- Prior experience in a Solutions Engineer or customer-facing technical role
- Knowledge of CDN, networking, application/network security, or SaaS solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures
- Hands-on understanding of demos, POCs, and technical validation processes
- Familiarity with VPN, remote access, SIEM/log analytics, and client OS fundamentals
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and travel up to 50%
Responsibilities
- Map customer initiatives and business problems to Cloudflare products and solution designs
- Partner with sales to qualify opportunities and develop technical win strategies
- Build relationships and technical champions within enterprise customer accounts
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts
- Run and manage POC trials and validate solution fit and adoption roadmaps
- Create technical content (white papers, blog posts, enablement materials) to share best practices
- Represent Cloudflare externally at developer, community, technology, and industry events
- Advise customers on architecture, security, and operational best practices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant technical certifications or continuous professional education preferred
