Corporate Pre-Sales Systems Engineer - French Speaking

Pure Storage is a public enterprise reshaping the data storage industry with innovative flash and distributed storage solutions. They are seeking a French-speaking Corporate Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support inside sales by delivering technical expertise, product demonstrations, architecture guidance, and competitive analysis to prospects and customers across assigned territories and remote regions.

Skills

  • Fluent French (spoken and written)
  • Strong phone presence and high-volume customer interaction experience
  • Knowledge of storage architectures: FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN
  • Experience with VMware, Windows, and UNIX/Linux variants (AIX, Linux)
  • Familiarity with NFS file systems and network environments
  • Ability to prepare and deliver technical product and architecture presentations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Self-motivated with strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct demonstrations, system configurations, and technical presentations to prospects and customers via Zoom and other channels
  • Respond to customer, reseller, and internal communications regarding product applications, pricing, and project status
  • Provide subject matter expertise on storage products and distributed storage architectures across DAS, NAS, and SAN
  • Assess competitor products to recommend Pure Storage replacements and articulate differentiators
  • Create account and territory plans for key accounts and proactively follow up on proposals and leads
  • Use sizing tools and established programs to design product performance solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Apply critical thinking to resolve customer situations and escalate appropriately
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to inform product requirements and usability
  • Travel domestically 5-10% for customer engagements as needed

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent technical experience
  • Relevant technical certifications preferred (e.g., VMware, storage certifications)
