Job Details:

Purpose

The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk (MCPER) is seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to provide support to multiple projects, including Intervention Academies and Tiered Interventions Using Evidence-Based Research (TIER). This candidate may also support additional projects, as determined by the direct supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduling and organizing meetings, trainings, and events related to the Intervention Academies.

  • Draft and distribute project communications, including updates, agendas, and summaries.

  • Maintain organized project documentation, shared drives, and correspondence.

  • Coordinate logistics for professional development sessions, including registration, materials, facilities/virtual platforms, and participant support.

  • Help manage contracts, purchase orders, and reimbursements as needed.

  • Monitor budget allocations and expenditures to ensure alignment with grant requirements.

  • Maintain comprehensive logs of consultant activities and time spent on projects.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.

This position requires proven coordination and organizational skills and an eagerness to collaborate with a team that provides support to a diverse group of support providers and LEAs across the state of Texas and beyond. The desired mindset for this position would be a willingness to walk alongside others and engage in a partnership to learn and implement research-based best practices for educators.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

8 years of relevant experience. 5 years of experience coordinating projects with excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with DEFINE and working with UT contracts and grants.

Salary Range

$68,000 - $70,000
