Responsibilities

 - Event Support (September priority):

  • Provide on-site support for employer recruiting events, career fairs, and information sessions — especially for any evening events (typically 5–8 PM).
  • Greet and check in employers, provide hospitality, and direct them to reserved spaces.
  • Welcome students and ensure they know where to go for sessions and events.
  • Assist with logistics and troubleshooting during events.

- Employer Engagement & Interview Support:

  • Support the management of interview rooms, including scheduling, set-up, and student access for virtual interviews.
  • Assist the Employer Success team with research projects and operational support tied to employer engagement.

- Marketing & Communications:

  • Assist with content creation to promote employer opportunities for students.
  • Research articles and resources to support employer engagement projects.
  • SharePoint migration support and digital file organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate students enrolled at UT Austin (all majors welcome).
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems; Office 365 knowledge preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional demeanor; flexible and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable assisting with evening events (September peak recruiting season).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Office 365 knowledge preferred
  • Schedule Availability
  • Minimum of 10 in-person hours per week.
  • Standard office hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
  • Preference given to students available for evening employer events (often 5–8 PM), particularly in September for recruiting events


Salary Range

$12/hour

Compliance:

Employees may be required to report violations of law under Title IX and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act).
