Recruiter

Cadwell Industries is seeking a Recruiter to attract and engage top talent and deliver a positive candidate experience. The role supports full-cycle recruitment—sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and onboarding—while ensuring compliance with employment laws and improving hiring processes. The position can be remote, hybrid, or onsite with the company headquarters in Kennewick, WA.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruiting best practices
  • Proficiency with ATS, HRIS, payroll systems, and background check tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for diverse roles
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies
  • Create and post recruitment advertisements across digital and print channels
  • Source candidates using job boards, outreach, networking, and industry presence
  • Screen and assess candidates via resume review, interviews, and communications
  • Maintain candidate relationships and provide timely application status updates
  • Coordinate background checks and follow-up requirements
  • Represent the company at job fairs and industry events; manage booth presence
  • Coordinate candidate travel and new hire logistics
  • Support new hire onboarding/orientation and related continuous improvements
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, ensure compliance, and inform improvements
  • Assist with performance, benefits, and compensation review processes as needed
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
