Outside Sales Representative / Restaurant Specialist - Washington, D.C.

SpotOn provides modern payments and restaurant management technology to help local restaurants and small businesses increase profits and streamline operations. The Hospitality Specialist (Outside Sales Representative) will cover a local territory in Washington, D.C., building relationships with restaurant and SMB owners, managing the full sales cycle, and driving adoption of SpotOn's POS, software, and payments solutions.

Skills

  • 2+ years B2B sales experience selling to small businesses or merchants
  • Proven track record meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong cold calling and prospecting skills
  • Territory buildout and account management experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce proficiency is a plus)
  • Comfort learning and demoing technology-based solutions

Responsibilities

  • Act as SpotOn’s local representative to prospect, build relationships, and close new restaurant and SMB accounts within an assigned territory
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and demos to contract signing and onboarding
  • Hit individual sales targets with a focus on software, POS systems, and payment processing
  • Travel locally to client sites to conduct meetings, demos, and installations
  • Coordinate with Sales Support and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of merchants while tracking activity and pipeline in the CRM

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Relevant sales certifications or coursework a plus
