Commercial Business Development - Maritime Autonomy

About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Business Development Rep to boost our commercial sales. This role is focused on identifying and developing business opportunities across key commercial markets such as port security, offshore infrastructure surveillance, offshore energy, hydrographic survey, environmental monitoring, and maritime logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the maritime domain, a passion for technological innovation, and a proven track record in solution-based sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, Identify and engage potential clients across commercial maritime sectors

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of leads from initial contact through to closing

  • Collaborate with GTM and technical teams to craft and submit proposals

  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to promote Havoc

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of sales or program management experience in maritime, defense, robotics, or related industries

  • A strong interest in and understanding of maritime technologies

  • A background working in maritime security, offshore infrastructure security, offshore energy, or ocean research

  • Excellent written communication and experience writing proposals

  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to present independently

  • Experience working in a dynamic startup environment is preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Maritime Autonomous Systems

Location:

  • Hybrid in the Greater Boston Area, Open to fully remote

  • Travel up to 50% of the time
