Senior Sales Director

The Health Management Academy partners with senior leaders across health systems and the broader healthcare industry to drive strategic transformation through peer networks, insights, and partnerships. We are seeking an experienced, consultative sales professional to grow membership and multi-year contracts primarily selling to leading health systems; candidates with a range of experience levels will be considered and should indicate whether their background is Health System or Industry-focused.

Skills

  • Proven track record meeting or exceeding revenue goals in complex consultative sales
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare market and health system priorities
  • Experience selling to senior executives/C-suite
  • Comfort with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder engagements
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic territory plan to sell memberships and solutions within assigned prospect pool
  • Drive revenue growth through acquisition of new members, prioritizing multi-year large-scale contracts
  • Deliver consultative one-on-one and small group onsite presentations to prospective members
  • Build and nurture relationships with CXO and senior executive audiences
  • Map market priorities, challenges, and opportunities to Academy solutions
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support new business and hand-off closed deals
  • Partner with sales associate on lead generation, pipeline development and logistics
  • Support member satisfaction, renewal planning and future growth after hand-off to Account Management

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Ongoing professional development in sales, healthcare, or related fields encouraged
