Skills
- Basic television production and broadcast operations knowledge
- Experience with commercial integration and playout automation
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft O365 suite
- Ability to use and troubleshoot video/audio routing equipment, file servers and transmitter monitoring
- Strong attention to audio/video/captioning quality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage time effectively
- Willingness to work onsite and flexible shifts
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists and execute program/commercial/marketing changes
- Ingest broadcast materials and perform quality control for automation systems
- Manage commercial integration and rolling commercial breaks for taped and live programming
- Monitor continuity, audio/video quality, captioning and picture integrity across multiple channel streams
- Troubleshoot playout and automation issues and act as first-line responder for internal clients
- Coordinate recovery from on-air discrepancies with Technical Managers and supervisors
- Support live-event and off-air workflows and send logs for reconciliation
- Work flexible hours including overnight shifts, weekends and holidays to support 24x7 operations
Education
- BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience
