TapBlaze is looking for an Executive Producer to join our Good Pizza, Great Pizza team in Los Angeles. With over 300 million downloads, Good Pizza, Great Pizza is loved by players worldwide for its charm, humor, and unique gameplay. We’re fully self-funded and committed to remaining independent so we can focus on making great games and delivering value to our players, not shareholders.
As the Executive Producer, you will be accountable for the overall success of the game — executing the creative vision, managing production schedules, guiding the design, art, and engineering teams, and ensuring the product meets our high standards for quality, player engagement, and business performance.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in both creative and operational domains. You will balance the big-picture vision with the day-to-day execution while keeping the team aligned and motivated.
Own the game’s creative vision, roadmap, and overall player experience;
Lead and inspire a cross-functional development team;
Manage the team’s day-to-day activities while maintaining close communication with developers to ensure deadlines, objectives, and quality standards are met;
Drive decision-making on gameplay, monetization, and live operations strategy;
Identify and mitigate project risks, removing roadblocks to ensure timely delivery;
Analyze game performance metrics and player feedback to drive continuous improvement;
“Roll up your sleeves” when necessary — whether that’s running daily standups, taking meeting notes, QA testing a feature, or supporting other team members to keep the project moving forward.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-disciplinary teams;
Deep understanding of F2P game design, monetization, and live ops;
Passion for creating games that delight and engage players worldwide;
Great attention to details; you read the full job description; only with great attention to details can we be great - please mention "beauty is in the details" in your cover letter.
5+ years of game development experience, with at least 2 years as a Senior Producer, Executive Producer, or similar leadership role;
Proven track record of shipping successful free-to-play mobile games;
Plus: Experience with simulation, casual, or narrative-driven games;
Plus: Experience managing teams across multiple locations/time zones.
Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work;
Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer.
The base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus (performance-based, 10% to 100%).
As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce TAPBLAZE recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business. We hire local talent at all levels regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability, and actively foster inclusion in all forms both within our company and across interactions with vendors and partners.
If this position caught your eye, send us your resume! For best consideration, include a cover letter in your application explaining why you would be a great fit.
