HR Generalist
Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support new employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data entry
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR support
- Help implement employee engagement initiatives and training programs
- Coordinate meetings, interviews, and employee events
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Contribute to internal communications and HR documentation updates
- Research, implement and maintain service awards program.
- Increase employee retention rates.
- Work with recruiting to identify and hire top talent.
- Integrate current processes and procedures into HRIS.
- Develop and maintain internal communications channels.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Customer service mindset and proactive problem-solving skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field preferred
- Internship or 0–2 years of HR experience (including administrative or recruiting support).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
