Tandem is a generational opportunity to rethink how we bring new therapies to market, and our path to doing so is significantly de-risked – we have:
Exponential organic growth: We have product-market fit and are growing rapidly through word-of-mouth. Tandem supports thousands of patients every day, is doubling doctor users every quarter, and is working with the largest biopharma companies in the world.
An AI-first business model: Our approach is distinctly enabled by AI, but our business will get stronger (not commoditized) as foundation models improve. We are building durability through two-sided network effects that will compound over time.
Top tier investors: With the traction to support conviction in our model, we raised significant funding from investors (Thrive Capital and General Catalyst) to build an exceptional team of engineers and operators.
Our number one priority is scaling to market demand. We are looking for individuals who are high horsepower, high throughput, and hyper resourceful to help us increase capacity and grow. We move fast and need to move faster.
All full-time roles are in person in New York. You can learn more about working with us in the last section of this page.
We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to help power the team that’s building Tandem. You will own the logistics, organization, and executional backbone of our recruiting engine — ensuring every candidate experience is exceptional, every process runs smoothly, and every hire moves fast.
This role requires high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and an operational mindset. You’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to orchestrate interviews, track pipelines, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
You’ll be joining a recruiting team that sees talent as a strategic differentiator — not an admin task. You’ll gain exposure to high-velocity recruiting at scale and play a key role in how we build Tandem’s culture, brand, and bar for excellence.
This is a demanding role with meaningful visibility and ownership. If you are organized, unflappable, and excited about fast-paced, high-impact work that drives company growth, we want to hear from you.
Own all aspects of candidate scheduling — manage complex interview calendars across functions and time zones with speed and accuracy
Serve as a high-touch point of contact for candidates, ensuring clear, warm, and timely communication throughout their journey
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to maintain recruiting pipelines and candidate tracking in our ATS (Ashby)
Prepare candidates and interviewers for success — sharing prep materials, interview plans, and feedback loops
Manage internal interview logistics: rooms, video setup, follow-ups, debriefs, and next steps
Support offer logistics, onboarding coordination, and new-hire experience as needed
Contribute to continuous improvement projects across recruiting operations, reporting, and candidate experience
Help build Tandem’s reputation as a best-in-class recruiting organization
1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, people operations, or a fast-paced administrative role
Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping details
Clear, confident written and verbal communication — you are professional, direct, and proactive
A calm, solutions-oriented mindset — you anticipate issues before they arise
High velocity and follow-through — you move fast and keep others moving
Comfort navigating ambiguity and a bias toward action
A reputation as someone who makes teams more effective
This is a list of ideal qualifications for this position. If you don't meet every single one of them, you should still consider applying! We’re excited to work with people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
