ABOUT THE ROLE
The Account Executive (New Business) will focus on generating new revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities with prospective customers. This role is heavily focused on new client acquisition - hunting for opportunities, building relationships, and converting prospects into long-term BEC clients.
This role requires a self-starter with strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills. The Sales Rep will represent BEC’s full portfolio of solutions and services, ensuring that client needs are understood and addressed effectively.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead follow-up.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at target accounts.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
Work with internal teams to scope solutions and set client expectations.
Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas for new business.
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce.
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts.
Ensure a smooth transition from sales to post-sale support teams.
Represent BEC at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences as needed.
Work Conditions
Remote / up to 40% travel required
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of B2B software sales experience, with a focus on new business acquisition
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Strong prospecting and negotiation skills
Experience selling in complex or solution-based environments preferred
Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM tools
Legal tech industry experience a strong asset
