Role Summary/Purpose
Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Audit Executive (CAE) for Synchrony, a Fortune 200 company, you will provide a range of critical administrative support services. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to handle confidential information while working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Interact with employees, customers, regulators, Synchrony Board of Directors and outside advisors in a professional and efficient manner.
Effectively use computer systems and company software programs with strong emphasis on Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Assemble and create dynamic PowerPoint presentations
Assist in the development and execution of engaging agendas for department connection activities including quarterly department townhall meetings
Planning & creating meetings and managing busy and complex calendars (including frequent calendar shifts)
Arranging for complex travel plans and events and prepare/reconcile T&E and Purchase Card reports; Travel (book on-line flight reservations and coordinate all travel/meeting logistics)
Coordinate activities and meetings, planning for on-site and off-site events; includes coordination with outside parties
Attend staff/team meetings as required
Maintain calendar for staff and department activities. Assist in prioritization of items
Manage the purchase order processing
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
7+ years in an executive administrative role
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Demonstrated strong ability to create quality PowerPoint presentations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information
Desired Characteristics:
Experience supporting a senior executive, preferably a C-Suite executive.
Strong organizational skills and possess the ability to handle multiple projects
Strong problem-solving skills & passion for excellence
Demonstrative initiative, ability to work independently and must be a team player
Excellent proficiency of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail
High level of integrity, confidentiality and self-confidence
Clear, concise and articulate communication skills (verbal & written)
Grade/Level: 07
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
